Skaffe.com Introduces New Directory For Non-Profits
Skaffe, one of the oldest human edited directories has launched a new directory called TeamSkaffe Directory for non-profit and non commercial web sites. TeamSkaffe realizes that some of the best and most comprehensive information on the Internet can be found on non-commercial sites, and that users can benefit from the quality information these sites provide. With that in mind, Team Skaffe has set up the TeamSkaffe Directory, which allows free submissions for non-commercial websites.
From the official press release, a spokesperson made the following statement:
As a team, we are highly excited to introduce TeamSkaffe.com for the quality information the directory is poised to provide our users. With a focus slanted towards non-commercial sites that can be listed for free, we are providing informational sites that often are overlooked due to their lack of marketing capital. Often, these sites contain exceptional quality and information with less bias than that of commercial equivalents. Our cross-referencing script will enable our users to quickly find the information they need by topic or region.
Additionally, the directory is an ‘SEO marketer’s dream’ as each approved submission will be given four links. Every submission must be placed under the hometown location of the business operation, then will automatically be placed in all relevant localities as well as the World Directory. For example, a site submitted to Rochester, NY in the Business topic will also be included in the New York Directory, the United States Directory, and the World Directory under the same topic, thus providing four submissions.
They will offer three levels of submission with the first being Free Submission, an Express Submission with anchor text for a small fee with a review of the submission within 24 hours of submittal and a Sponsored Advertising Submission with anchor text. With the sponsored, a maximum of twenty sites in a topic may purchase an annual listing which reserves top placements in the category. This option provides the most traffic and search engine results.

That’s a great idea for a directory. That will be very useful for people that don’t want to be bothered too much by ads.
