New Tool From SEOmoz Combines Popular Search and Trends Sources
With all the great sites that exist that allow one to discover rising trends and buzz worthy terms through popular searches, have you ever thought it would be nice to have a tool that would combine them all
in one place? Well, your wish has come true. SEOmoz has released a new tool that aggregates the data from a variety of sites into one place. They call it,
Popular Searches.
The tool combines data from the following sites:
- Technorati: Popular
- Flickr Hot Tags
- Del.icio.us Popular Tags
- Yahoo! Buzz - Top Overall Searches
- Google Hot Trends
- eBay Pulse
- AOL Hot Searches
- Lycos Top 50
- Ask Top Searches
- Amazon - Most Popular Tags
- Amazon - Movers and Shakers
- Amazon - Best Sellers
- Amazon - New Releases
The tool will even allow you to go back in history (although it only goes back a couple weeks at the writing of this post) and download the data in CSV format. This adds to the ever-growing set of
tools SEOmoz has developed which includes Rank Checker, Term Target,
Page Strength, Crawl Test, Keyword Difficulty, and
IP Location Lookup. Additional tools can be found in their paid members area but thankfully they have added this newest tool to their free offerings.
