Jon Stewart “Tries” To Understand Twitter

Twitter has definitely hit the mainstream. That includes the Daily Show with Jon Stewart where Jon makes a feeble but humorous attempt to describe what Twitter actually is.

While the video segment itself reveals Jon’s understand (or lack thereof), I especially like when he is speaking to his tech correspondent, or at least trying to speak with her as she is distracted by, what else… Twitter.

Enjoy!

  1. I prefer facebook to twitter. What surprises me with twitter and facebook how kids have figured out a system to buy and sell drugs from each other or set up contacts for these drug deals. Isn’t technology wonderful?

  2. I think I’m in the same league as Jon Stewart when it comes to understanding twitter. I setup an account for marketing because that’s what lots of people said to do. I haven’t logged back in since. I just don’t feel the need to advertise what I am doing from day to day.

  3. I always thought I was early adopter of tech – but Twitter is one thing I never got; maybe age catching up. :)

  4. This new concept of Twitter has really taken off and its amazing to see how many people are using it to communicate with others and how many others are still preferring Face book

  5. Too bad the video doesn’t work but I can imagine what Jon Stewart is saying about it. His rant must be priceless.
