PubCon Vegas Coming Up!
PubCon Las Vegas is the next big search/social media marketing conference on the docket and yours truly will be there presenting on “The Convergence of Social Media & Search.” The session asks the questions, “Does social media prevent the need for search? Does social media play an important role in search?” Myself and three other panelists will look at both sides of the issue, and discuss where the two intersect.
PubCon Las Vegas runs November 8-11, 2010 and will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This year is bigger than ever with up to seven sessions taking placer at any given time. General topics include social media optimization, search marketing, SEO, affiliate marketing, webmaster issues, interactive site reviews and expert spotlight sessions.
The kickoff keynote will feature noted author and New York Times technology columnist David Pogue who has written The Times’s popular State of the Art column for the past decade, will offer his unique and insightful take on the latest social media initiatives to PubCon Las Vegas 2010 attendees.
In addition to the keynote, PubCon Las Vegas features well over 100 speakers, all experts in their fields. It is probably the largest gathering of search and social media marketing experts I’ve seen at any PubCon.
My session takes place on Wednesday November 10, 2010 at 10:15 am. I know it’s early for Vegas but if you’re at the conference, please do stop by and say hi.
