Hear Me Speak at SEMpdx SearchFest – March 10, 2009
On March 10th, I will be in Portland speaking at SearchFest 2009 conference put on by SEMpdx, an association of search marketers based in or around the Portland area. It will be my first time speaking for SearchFest for which I am honored and actually my first time in Portland as well. I’ll be speaking on a panel related to Wordpress… a favorite topic of mine.
Hear Me Speak at SMX West 2009
SMX West is just around the corner, a premier search and social media marketing conference takes place February 10-12, 2009 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California and will feature three days of sessions, keynotes, networking activities, special educational presentations and meals for which SMX events are famous. I am privileged to be able to speak in two separate sessions – “Tools, Glorious Tools” and “Productivity Tips For The Busy Search Marketer.”
PubCon in Las Vegas – Save 20% For Limited Time
I’ve never been to a PubCon or even to the city of Las Vegas. So not only am I looking forward to attending this year’s PubCon in Las Vegas, I have the added privilege of being part of the speaking team as well. I will be speaking on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in a session entitled “Is Social Media & Search a Love Story or a War Story?” along with fellow peeps Chris Winfield, Liana Evans, Bill Hartzer.
Live Blogging at Small Business Marketing Unleashed – Columbus Ohio
I’m currently attending the Small Business Unleashed conference being held in Columbus Ohio where I will be live-blogging a total of 9 sessions. I am joined by Diane Aull, Jackie Baker and Scott Allen who will be live-blogging sessions as well. For the most part, I believe the four of us will be able to cover all sessions on the first day as well as most of the workshops occurring on the second day.
Search Marketing Workshop To Be Held in Phoenix, Arizona – June 18, 2008
For the longest time I have wanted to participate in a local seminar in my own community of Phoenix Arizona on the subject of search engine marketing. Now that will be fulfilled in the inaugural event of the National Marketing Academy as they host the Phoenix Search Engine & Internet Marketing Workshop.
SBM Unleashed: Trip Report and Shout Outs
I’m two days back from the first Small Business Marketing Unleashed conference and I have to say that this was probably one of the best conference I have ever been to. The conference attracted right around 50 paid attendees which made for a very intimate setting. Speakers and those of who were live blogging were able to spend some real quality time with attendees. The information that was presented in sessions and workshops was of the highest quality and the food served up set the bar high for any other conference to follow.
Covering Conference Sessions at SMX West? Pass Along the Link Love
I will be part of a team of people that will be live-blogging sessions for Search Engine Roundtable at the upcoming SMX West conference in Santa Clara, California. While the coverage is always fantastic, I do have one pet peeve and that is the fact that “link love” is often not given. What I am referring to is linking to moderator and speaker company sites.

WebmasterWorld who produces the PubCon conferences and SEO Class, a newly formed organization providing intimate training experiences in search marketing, are partnering together to produce PubCon SEO Class, coined as a premium Internet marketing training program.
