Infographic Marketing

Infographic Marketing, Information Graphics Design An Infographic, short for "information graphic" is simply a graphic visual representation of information, data or knowledge. In today's age of mass information overload, Infographics have become a very popular way of displaying information or data in a way that is easily consumable by people.

The general idea with Infographic marketing is to come up with a content idea that is interesting and hopefully somewhat relevant to the site the Infographic will be hosted on. Once the Infographic is developed and published, we promote via submission to social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon, Digg and many others. We then encourage the voting and sharing of such content through various means including social media voting buttons that are located with the Infographic itself, an "embed this" code that allows users to host Infographic on their own site and by even by accessing our extensive network of peers who will regularly "vote on eachother's content."

Depending on how well the content is received, the end result is that natural inbound links are acquired and new traffic is driven to the site.

What SearchRank Offers

Infographic marketing begins with a brainstorming session to come up with content ideas. Once an idea or even multiple ideas are selected, we then conduct the necessary research to accumulate the data that will be included in the Infographic. This is followed by the design of a graphically appealing Infographic which is then placed on the client site along with social media voting buttons, an embed code and in some cases, citations as to where data was collected.

This is followed by submitting the Infographic to about 120 social networking and bookmarking sites. Extra effort is focused on the most popular social sites including Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Google +, Digg and Reddit. It is on these sites that we encourage the sharing and voting up of content.

Two to three weeks after the promotion process, SearchRank provides a detailed report showing which social media and bookmarking sites the Infographic was submitted to, how many new inbound links the piece earned and how well the content did on Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Google +, Digg and Reddit. We can also utilize Google Analytics to see how well the content itself performed in drawing traffic.
