Online Press Release Feature Definitions

Basic Statistics - These statistics show metrics on the general activity your press release has received.

eBook Creation Wizard - Our custom and proprietary PDF eBook - Electronic Media Kit creation Wizard will allow you to create customizable digests of your own releases by account or group. You can upload your own cover art, provide written content and share your digests with the media.

Please note, you must have at least two $300 releases to create one.

eBook Industry Digest - Each of PRWeb's 250+ industry category content is available in a digest format by date. Allowing you to collect and browse offline PRWeb content dating back to 1997. Your release will be available in these eBook digests via the industry categories you selected per release.

eMediaWire Distribution - Provided your press release receives an editorial score of 4 or greater, eMediaWire distribution includes distribution via the eMediaWire site.

File Attachments - Files of 3MB or less may be attached to your press release. Some examples include a JPEG or GIF image of a product, logo, or person, small mp3 sound bites or music samples and PDF or Word documents. Executable binaries, screen savers and other formats generally associated with viruses are not allowed.

Google News - Your release will be made available to Google News for inclusion in their News pages provided that your release receives an editorial score of 4 or greater.

Hyperlink Anchor Tags - Though we do not allow HTML for a variety of security and formatting reasons, you may include linked keywords in your press release using our simple custom syntax, which is described in detail on the order template.

Hyperlink URL Activation - Any valid URL will automatically be rendered into a clickable link for your reader's convenience.

iFrame Website Feature - The iFrame feature is a Web page within a Web page, highlighted to increase the likelihood of customer interaction directly from your press release. Users with qualifying sites have the ability to include a preview of their Web site via a viewable and accessible iFrame at the bottom of their press release.

Image Thumbnails - Image file attachments in JPEG or GIF format will automatically be rendered into a thumbnail and displayed next to your press release body.

Increased Google Sitemap Placement - Your press release will be listed in our Google Sitemaps, which help the search engine navigate and clearly read our content.

Industry Feeds - Every PRWeb industry category has a corresponding RSS news feed. Your release will be eligible for distribution in the same feeds as the categories you've selected to go along with your release.

Industry Targets - Industry categories may be chosen per press release.

MSA Selection - Your release will be displayed and available on PRWeb.com based on the MSAs (Metropolitan Statistical Area) you've selected.

NewsCrafters Consultation™ - A member of the NewsCrafters™ editorial team will review your release for basic spelling and grammatical mistakes, quality standards and to ensure your release is newsworthy. Your release will then be assigned an editorial score. As a part of this consultation, you may contact the NewsCrafters team for help with brief questions related to your editorial content.

News Image - A JPEG News Image may be uploaded along with your release to be located in-line with the text. This image will also be made available to Google News and is often displayed next to the release's Google News search results.

Newspad Search Engine Inclusion - Your English language release will be made available via our in-house Newspad search engine at www.newspad.com.

Next Day Distribution - While the default distribution date for your release is two days from the day of your submission, you may change your release date to "next day." In most cases we can accommodate next day distribution provided that we can readily contact you if needed and that you submit corrections in a timely manner.

PDF Release Version - A PDF (portable document format) version of your press release content is created, which will be available for you and your readers to download and distribute manually. These PDFs contain embedded information, and several search engines are known to index them

Pheedo Distribution Network - An innovative new delivery channel for your press release, expanding normal reach and exposure. Your release is picked and delivered on a contextual basis then placed on and within relevant web sites and RSS feeds. The content channels across many categories of the Pheedo network to provide distribution to over 20,000 sites and RSS feeds in entertainment, technology, mobile, small business topics and more.

Printer-Friendly Version - This version provides a copy of your release with PRWeb's site navigation and images removed.

PR Tag Clouds - The keywords you choose will be used as press release tags, another social media methodology of providing relevant and associated content to readers.

PR TrackBacks - Your social media enhanced press release will be able to receive TrackBack and Pingbacks either automatically or with your approval.

PRWeb Hosted Release - Your press release will appear on PRWeb.com and be made available through our many internal network distribution, sorting and viewing methods.

PRWebPodcast Interview Request - A professional PRWebPodcast interview may be requested and scheduled at this level. Your release and subsequent podcast will then be distributed and promoted on PRWebPodcast.com and iTunes.

PRWeb Page One/Two Inclusion - Your press release will be included on page one or two of PRWeb.com, depending on which package you choose.

Quotables - Quotables are dynamic "pull quotes," uniquely displayed quotes in your news release that change every time the page is refreshed. PRWeb's proprietary algorithm dynamically reads your release to select the quote to be displayed. The Quotable also acts as a link to the URL associated with the release.

SEO Statistics - Our advanced statistics include information on where in the world people are accessing your release from, a graphical 3D pie chart showing activity by search engine and a list of the top 20 most popular search terms used to find your release and from which search engine.

Social Bookmarking - Social bookmarking is a method of subjective and shared categorization of personal Web site bookmarks. This feature is useful as it allows others on the Internet to view, and depending upon the site, rate and add your bookmarks to their own collections.

RSS Group Creation - The RSS group function allows for the creation of ad-hoc RSS groups. Each group has a name and ID associated with it. Press releases may be assigned to created groups for sorting and viewing purposes from within the Management Console.

RSS Group Feeds - Releases will be made available via the URL associated with RSS groups that you create. This feed will group all corresponding news releases together in one chain of information.

Topix News Inclusion - With an editorial score of four or greater your release will be eligible for inclusion into Topix.Net - a copy of your press release will be hosted on their news site.

URL Keywords - You may supply one or two keywords, which may be hyphenated for phrases, to be used in your unique press releaes URL.

ViewNews Daily & Category Inclusion - Your release will be eligible for display in ViewNews, provided that it has a valid News Image or image file attachment. Selection is randomized and based up industry category viewing or daily news viewing.

Yahoo News Inclusion - Provided that your release receives an editorial score of 4 or greater, it will be available on Yahoo! News as a hosted copy and available for inclusion in their search results.

Yahoo Site Match - Provides expedited placement in the search engines.

Yahoo Site Match 2x - Provides expedited placement in the search engines at twice the $80 level.

Yahoo Site Match 3x - Provides expedited placement in the search engines at three times the $80 level.
