Yahoo Search Submit
Get listed in Yahoo and others with Yahoo Search Submit. This pay for inclusion program allows you to submit up to 1,000 URLs instantly to a search index that powers Yahoo!, Alta Vista, All The Web and
other major portal partners. This program was rolled out by Yahoo on March 1st, 2004 and combines the prior PFI programs for Inktomi, All The Web and Alta Vista. It is actually
a combined pay for inclusion/pay per click program and is described in detail below.

By subscribing your URLs (Web pages) to the Yahoo Search Submit you make your products and services available to 85% of the world searching population through leading search
partners including Yahoo!, Alta Vista, All The Web and other major portal partners.
How Search Submit Works
- Your URLs are submitted for review after you pay a non-refundable annual fee for editors to review the quality of content on your submitted pages.
- Once reviewed and accepted into the program, your pages are added to a database of sites that powers search results for major web portals
such as Yahoo!, MSN, All the Web, Alta Vista and others.
- When a user clicks on your Search Submit listing in search results, you pay a cost-per-click fee for that lead. You must maintain a positive
balance in your cost-per-click account for your pages to remain active in the program.
- At the end of one year, your annual subscription renews.
Pricing Information
Yahoo Search Submit has two pricing components: an annual review fee and cost-per-click fee based on product category.
When you initiate your Search Submit subscription, a non-refundable annual review fee is charged for setting up your account and for editors to review the quality of content on your pages.
Search Submit subscribers who submit fewer than 1,000 URLs pay the annual review fee, which breaks down as follows:

Subscribers then pay a fixed cost-per-click when a potential customer clicks on one of their listings (URLs). The fee is either 15 cents or 30 cents, depending upon the URL's content.
