One clarify comment. The content Godaddy is writing is for their network sites or PBN's. It's not added to the user's site, so there is no panda issue but a possible Penguin "if it ever rolls out" issue or a manual spam action. After the whole websites being hacked on Godaddy and tracing back to an employee, I stay far and far away from Godaddy. Their reps don't understand what a 301 redirect and states it was perfectly ok for a website to load with and without www. Enough said.

GoDaddy is fine for domain name registration. I would not use them for anything else. I have tried using them for hosting a few times, and it never produced a satisfactory result. Their hosting tech support staff was condescending and would not listen to me when I tried to get them to help with problems that were caused by their hosting services.
